Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I posted an ad on Craigslist for a bull. I received a text from someone wanting to buy the bull. They did not want to come inspect him. I asked for a name and address so I could complete a bill of sale. They would not give it to me. They said they would send a certified check. When the check arrived it was not certified. My bank determined that the account number on it did not exist. It was for twice the asking price of the bull. They wanted me to cash it and sent the balance to someone else.
