My wife received a message for an Mp3 player for only $2.95. She signed up for it, entered her debit card number and contact information, then hit "accept." The Mp3 player was a "thank you gift" for signing up for a monthly membership to Skyline, LLC’s eye serum company. She was billed for the Mp3 player and $34.97 for the first month’s membership. According to Skyline’s customer service, the membership is described in the "Terms and Conditions" of the Mp3 player purchase, which I was told my wife should have read. Their deception was blamed on my wife.

Supposedly, it was a monthly membership fee. However, 2 weeks later (yesterday) , her debit card was charged $34.76. Upon my own investigation into this, I discovered the Skyline website states the ordered products (the

Mp3 player and the 1st dose of their product) would ship, "immediately" after the first payment. After two weeks,

neither product arrived, nor did the 2nd dose. I cancelled her "membership," today. They only refunded 50% of the product payments, 0% of the Mp3 player purchase. I was told that was all spelled out in the "Terms and Conditions," which were not obviously stated on the ad for the Mp3 player.
