Type of a scam Employment
I received a text alert on my google voice number of an opportunity to mystery shop at locations around me. I responded to the text and gave some information, nothing bearing account information. On Tuesday January 12,2016 I received another text alert of Task & Payment. This continue for a couple of days. I received the package yesterday afternoon, the first thing that caught my attention was the address in which it came. the second was just a single sheet of paper with details of what I’m to do, simply put a wire transfer to two individuals but I would have to deposit the funds and within a few hours or the next day the funds would be made available. The check to me seem quite funny so after doing some digging on the internet I found the number to the bank and call. ‘the lady whom i spoke with said the serial number or account number doesn’t exist, she said I’m glad you called us first. I will provide as much information as I can in hopes that someone doesn’t get caught in this scam.
