Type of a scam Employment
I received an email offering me a job interview that I had not replied to. I accepted the interview because I am looking for work as a struggling veteran. When I went to their office, they had close to 10-15 people waiting to be interviewed. When I got called in (20 minutes late) he told me that I could be a marketing manager, only after I sold magazines, pots and pans and Tupperware, via word of mouth and cold calls. He said that I could make up to $50 an hour but my base would be $10. He was blatant about his success and told me how much he made in order to motivate me to accept. Besides the waste of time, the lies and schemes, the thing that bothered me most is that they are taking advantage of people who need work. 50-year-olds holding their resumes excited about promises, but left wanting and hurt after the fact.
