Type of a scam Online Purchase

This site offered Lysol disinfectant spay and many other hard to get items for purchase. We purchased items in the total of $53.61. We were sent a tracking number by email the following morning after placing order that showed items had been delivered. We never received the items. I emailed the company by contact info on the site and never received a reply. The site was taken down shortly afterwards and search said IP address could not be found.

We checked with our local post office and were told this has happened to many other people. Somehow the individuals running the site were able to provide those who attempted to make a purchase with a tracking number that showed items had been delivered. We tried to obtain a refund through Paypal but the tracking number they provided to us was also given to Paypal so the denied the case.
