Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I was sent a text to make extra money by driving my car, while advertising mtn. Dew. They sent a check for $4,950.00. Contact was by texting. They said for me to take out my first pay of $500.00 for me. Then I needed to go to walmart and purchase money orders totaling $4,300.00 blank. Then go to FedEx and overbite to address in Indiana for the expert to come wrap my car with the ad. They ask to take pics of receipts and money orders. They gave a day when the expert would come. On that day they text you and say it was a miscalculation of funds to the expert. He was suppose to get $13,200. So they are going to mail you 2 more checks and you go get more money orders. The first check that you deposited at the beginning has now bounced. And I was stuck -$4,950 in my account.
